Week3: 08.27 - 08.30

Focus: We're going to start looking at all three viewpoints: anti gun, pro gun, and the middle road. We're going to make comparisons, evaluate arguments, and engage in online research. We're going to pool our knowledge together online through edmodo, wikispaces, and google docs. We're going to start developing roles within our groups toward creating team-created online knowledge artifacts, and we're going to engage in specific writing assignments moving toward our culminating task by Sept. 10th.

    • 1 research page: must have two articles for each stance and a 1 sentence description of each.
  • Activity: Students start making essay frameworks | one student from each team begins online research

  • HW: complete frameworks; Single question - must include a quote as part of answer. Will probably need to between 4-5 sentences long.
