Update for Parents

posted Apr 26, 2011, 8:46 PM by Kevin Chow
All English students will need to acquire a copy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
Students can do so in several ways:

  1. Purchase a new copy for $1.50 from Mr. Chow. This is the special price that I got from Amazon after telling them that we'd be using them for the classroom, and that we'd buy 88 at one time.
  2. Borrow one from the library - we currently have 32 copies available for extended loan. However, these copies aren't exactly the same (different folio, and different page numbers). They are still usable, however.
  3. Download a copy from the "Forms and Docs" link here on the homepage, or in this post (see attachments). The same issues as #2 apply. However, this is a very good text with lots of notes. E-text can be printed out or viewed with iPad, iPhone, cell phone, computer... a variety of media.
  4. Earn a new copy by doing community service for the school. See Mr. Chow for details at nutrition or lunch.
Also, we have only 8 weeks left! Parents, please contact me through the school or this web site if you want to talk to me about your child.
